Our Daughter, Kayla, Is Married

On Saturday, April 28, our youngest daughter, Kayla, became Mrs. Jerod Newberry. Jerod is the son of Nicky and Glenda Newberry. Jerod works in the excavation business. Kayla works at the St. Francis Vet Clinic.

The wedding was held at the Towering Oaks Church in Berryville.

Congratulations to the newly-weds!

Something Different

Occasionally we get a call to photograph something other than portraits or weddings. We had the opportunity to photograph a commercial session. Anne Banister from Shell Knob makes pillows for wedding rings. Want your dog to be the ringbearer at your wedding? She makes a special ring pillow for dogs!
We thought this photo was really cute.

Digital Files Available On Weddings

For sometime, we've been having brides ask if they can buy a CD of the digital files of their wedding, to print their own photos. So last year, we started offing this service.
We are finding brides want the digital files for one of three reasons:
1. To archive their wedding photos. Most still want us to design and create their wedding album, but it's nice to have the CD in a safe place for the future.
2. We do the album, but some DIY (do it yourself) brides want a CD to make their additional copies, including photos for friends and families.
3. The total DIY bride. Yes, you can buy just the CD, no album from us. You then handle all the printing and design for your album.
Our "CD only" coverages start at just under $1,000.
Brides who purchase the CD are given special instructions on how and where to get the photos printed. Brides are loving this new option!

Ambassador John Bolton Visits CofO

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton was the speaker at College of the Ozarks on April 12. Mr. Bolton gave a very informative lecture, discussing the challenges we face in dealing with countries such as Iran and North Korea. We did candid coverage of a question and answer session with students, dinner, lecture, and then a special reception. We photographed Mr. Bolton with many of the guests. When I finished, I had a quick photo taken with him for my studio "Wall of Fame'.

It's always an honor to be a part of the special events at CofO.

Need Photos Fast?

This time of year, we get lots of calls from Seniors we've photographed. The conversation goes something like, "We are getting ready to send out our announcements and we need more wallets. How soon can we get them?"
In a rush, we can usually get wallets on a reorder in about one week, sometimes a bit quicker. No, it's not too late!
