Farewell to Busch Stadium

On October, 13, 2005, we paid our last visit to Busch Stadium. It was the next-to-last game played at the stadium.
A couple years ago, we met Busch Stadium organist Ernie Hays. Above is a photo of Ernie at the organ. Also, Karla and I had dinner with Mr. Hays and his wife at Mike Shannon's Restaurant after the game.

Tom Brokaw at College of the Ozarks

Last fall we had the honor of photographing Tom Brokaw, of NBC News, on his visit to College of the Ozarks.
Here's a photo of Karla with Mr. Brokaw.

See Us At the Mall!

We now have a photo gallery at Battlefield Mall in Springfield. It is located inside the east entrance (by Ruby Tuesday's). We are in front of Zales Jewelry.
Check it out! We will be putting up new photos the first of each month.

Wild Flowers at the studio

For several years, we've planted a large patch of wildflowers at the studio. I plow up a section, and replant each year.
This year, we are planting in a new area, and are going to see what happens with last year's area. We already have lots of flowers growing in last year's area. The ones planted this year, won't be blooming until mid to late June.
These photos were taken in April. Looks like more will be blooming anytime.
If you like to grow wildflowers, I'd suggest you check out http://www.wildseedfarms.com/.

Sen. Zell Miller at College of the Ozarks

On April 6, 2006, we had the honor of photographing Senator Zell Miller during his visit to College of the Ozarks. We did candid photos of the banquet and convocation. At the private reception following, we photographed the Senator with many special invited guests. At the end of the photo session, I did a few photos of Karla with the Senator.
Part of Karla's job when helping me, is to make sure everyone looks good. A couple of times, Karla had to step over and straighten the Senator's tie. Once I took a photo as she was adjusting his tie. When it came time to get her photo taken, the Senator says, "I want you to take of photo of her fixing my tie".
This is the two photos that were taken.

Razorback and Lady Bear Basketball

Had a great time this past year, photographing basketball games. Got to photograph two MSU Lady Bear Games and five Arkansas Razorback games. Is especially fun, as we did senior photos for Lady Bear Kayli Combs and Razorback Steven Hill.
Photographing a game is great for 3 reasons:
#1. You get to set on the floor, almost like you are part of the game.
#2. You get in free.
#3. Free pizza in the media room!!!!!!
