We Charge HOW Much????

We recently had a couple of phone calls that makes me wonder about the rumors that fly around in a small community. First, a lady called and asked, “We would like you to do our daughter’s senior portraits, but we heard you charge $1,500 for senior photos, is that correct?” Then another lady called and asked, “How much do you charge to photograph a wedding anniversary? We were told it was $1,200”.
Well, yes, you CAN spend that much, and some people do, but you don’t have to.
We have no minimums on our portraits. You pay a session fee and buy what you want. Some people order from several poses, others from just a few. Some order big prints, others order small. Some order the more expensive finishes, others order the less expensive. YOU choose whatever fits your budget. Spend as little or as much as you want.
To photograph an anniversary, we charge $100.
There is one thing more important than price and that is, “What are you getting for your money?” It doesn’t matter how inexpensive something is, if you are not happy with it, then you paid too much.
A wise man once said, “There is nothing in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and he who considers price only is that man’s lawful prey.”---John Ruskin (1819-1900)
That is especially true in photography today.
It’s ok to check prices, just make sure you know what you are getting for you money.
You can check out our senior pricelist online. We also have our wedding prices online.
