Barbara Plumlee, 1933-2007

My mom passed away this morning.
She had been suffering from congestive heart failure for some time. She died at home.

She had woke up at 4:30 this morning, she asked my dad to get her a pain tablet, as her arms were hurting. When he returned, she had passed away.

Above photo is Mom and Dad, taken last sping.
Here is a link to the online obituary:
Mom was always so cheerful, so positive. During her recent health struggle, she tired to keep a cheerful attitude. She spent several days between Christmas and New Years in the ICU, due to some blood clots. One day in the ICU, she said she felt like a character on a tv show she used to watch, called “The Life of Riley”. Apparently there was a character name Chester who would turn to the camera and say, “What a revolting development this is!”. She said, that was the way she felt about her health problems.
She repeated that phrase a couple more times the past month, always in a tone to cheer us up.
